“Everyone's going off”

Films: Alien Outbreak (2020)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of average humans to that of small buildings.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: The invaders are here, and this time, they brought with them a weapon that's more terrifying than any ray gun. That being a means of making the whole human race not want to live anymore. It sounds like Earth is doomed...and it may very well be.

History: One day, the residents of a local town started to kill both each other and themselves. At first, the reason was unclear. But then robotic probes and ships showed up, and the answer became clear. Aliens had come and unleashed a virus that causes people to go berserk. But for two cops trying to survive, the exact reasons for this invasion become muddled.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After one of the cops fools herself into thinking the aliens are innocent, said aliens' tall leaders show up to kill both her and her partner. But as they leave, the one who died first is shown to have survived. Is this outbreak truly unbeatable...?

Powers/Abilities: The aliens, or at least their robots, can produce a contagious virus that reduces people to suicidal killers. They can also do this with an injection, though it may actually just put others into a zombie-like state. The aliens themselves are very durable, able to survive things like being cut in half for a very long time.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-It's not so much the cheap CGI alien robots that get to us as it is the actual aliens (which look like black-blooded vampires) and the things people do under the virus' thrall. The mutilations that occur are not for the faint of heart. On a more creepy note, the aliens leading this are unnaturally humongous in height, and quite ominous to boot.

Trivia: -This film won Best Feature Film at the 2020 Berlin Sci Fi Film Festival.

-Director Neil Rowe's wife Amanda was a composer and producer for this film. As a result of her involvement in the police of the UK, the cop characters were deemed more authentic than usual. At least they weren't US cops. Sheesh...

At least it isn't the Twilight vampires from space.

Lovely weather?

When Dark Souls and Sci-Fi truly combine.

How it TRULY feels to get mugged.
It CAN'T be worse than what we're dealing with.

"No, we don't have a size hood for you."

"Guess I'll die."
Without probably intending, this opened up a HUGE can of worms.
